WW- It’s Never Easy

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

This past Saturday, my grandmother was called home to be with the Lord. She was 92 years old with 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren (with 3 more on the way). She was widowed in her 40’s with 7 kids to raise and dedicated her life to caring for her children and grandchildren. She was a remarkable, strong person who overcame many obstacles, but always found a way to laugh and had no problem telling you the way things were. Our family revolved around her. She truly lived life to the fullest for 92 years. She loved Mardi Gras parades and would hit you with her cane if you got in her way. She even tailgated a LSU football game in her 90’s. She was an amazing person who will be dearly missed. I will cherish my memories with her until we meet again. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me; and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. –John 10:27-30
