Last weekend I had the opportunity to attend the 2011 International Food Blogging Conference in New Orleans. It was my first blogging conference and I look forward to attending more in the future. Not only did I eat delicious meals prepared by some of New Orleans’s most prestigious chefs but I also learned about marketing my blog. Fellow attendees gave away everything from personalized stickers, pens, tote bags, and of course business cards. The more unique the item handed out, the more memorable the person and/or blog. At my next conference I plan on handing out stickers customized with the Nola Mommy logo and web address.

I have a 18 month old and her sister Zoe who would have been 4 this year. I will be sending out memorial cards to a lot of family and friends and I would love to design a sticker to send with the cards this year in her memory.
